Q: What year did you start at Edward Jones? A: I started at Edward Jones in March 2001. Q: What did you do previously? A: I had worked years before at an ad agency, then mostly at home with three children. I became involved with the whole neighbourhood through the Home and School Association and then helping my closest friend become our school trustee, city councilor and ran for the Mayor of Toronto. She unfortunately lost that one. Q: What is it like to work in a two-person office? A: I was hesitant at first with the thought of working full time and just the two of us in the office. I soon got over that as we are a very busy office with clients coming in and out, telephone, email etc. Q: What is your relationship like with your Financial Advisor? A: I knew my Financial Advisor and his whole family as fellow neighbours for years. He still golfs with my husband every Sunday morning. His wife found out that I was thinking of working as my children were well into High School and University. He called me and asked that I consider Edward Jones - that was almost 6 years ago. The assets have more than doubled since then. Q: What is your relationship like with clients? A: The best part of my job is talking with clients. I have always been very social with everyone I meet so helping people, answering questions and giving support is natural to me. Our office is truly a place where you will receive the best financial advice and service in a relaxed friendly way. All you have to do is just ask.
