A: I am responsible for providing financial leadership and support to other leaders in the firm.

Q: Describe how your division contributes to the firm's success.
A: My division helps other divisions achieve business objectives. We help business owners understand and use financial information for decision making purposes and to drive operational efficiency.

Q: What year did you start at Edward Jones? What year did you start in your current position?
A: I started with Edward Jones in 2001 and my current position in 2006.

Q: What did you do prior to joining Edward Jones?
A: Prior to joining Edward Jones, I was employed in the Estate and Trust Department of a large Canadian Bank.

Q: Describe the culture at Edward Jones and how it’s different from your previous job. What is unique?
A: Edward Jones makes me feel like I am making a contribution rather than being just another employee.

Q: One area Edward Jones prides itself is enabling associates to maintain a strong work-life balance. How does this approach impact you?
A: Edward Jones gives me the flexibility I need to manage my personal affairs and work. If I need to work from home to help my wife, I have the flexibility to do that.

A: To me, the firm as a partnership means that the owners have a personal interest in the business that goes beyond what the owners of a corporation have. Partners are concerned with doing the right thing.

Q: What qualities do you think a person needs to have to succeed in the home office environment?
A: The ideal home office associate needs to be able to work in a fast paced environment as well as deal with many people and personalities.

Q: How do you see your future at Edward Jones unfolding?
A: My career has moved along very well at Edward Jones. Edward Jones has afforded me many opportunities that have helped my career. I see my employment with Edward Jones as a long-term growth opportunity.

Q: How has the firm supported your professional growth via training opportunities?
A: The firm has assisted my professional development by covering the costs of my professional accounting requirements.
