An North American Firm with a Local Focus
Edward Jones was founded in 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri, and for over 30 years the firm housed its employees in very much the traditional way – a single downtown office building. In 1955, however, Ted Jones developed the revolutionary concept of establishing single-Financial Advisor branch offices conveniently located in the local communities where our clients lived and worked.

More than 11,000 Locations
By 1989, we had seen our branch network grow to more than 1,000 offices across the United States, and today there are more than 11,000 Edward Jones locations in Canada and the United States. And opportunity abounds for those who want to be Financial Advisors as we have plans to grow to 17,500 branch offices globally in the coming years.

Our Headquarters
To support our ever-increasing branch network, we have also established headquarters in every country we do business. Currently, we have headquarters facilities in Mississauga, Ontario; St. Louis, Mo.; and Tempe, Ariz.
