Our Business Model

For over 50 years, Edward Jones has brought investing to the individual investor by establishing single-financial-adviser offices in the local communities where our clients live and work. By having offices that have one Financial Adviser and a full-time support person (Branch Office Administrator) staff each office runs counter to that of virtually every other major securities firm. We, however, feel it’s the reason for our more personalised service and therefore largely responsible for our remarkable growth. Currently, we have over 10,000 office locations through our affiliates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Our belief is that the best advice comes from someone who knows you. That’s why we will continue to staff our conveniently located offices with someone who might drop by your home to introduce himself or herself, someone with whom clients can build a lasting, one-on-one relationship, someone you might see in your community, at the local shops or as part of your local Chamber of Commerce.

Supportive Structure
Although ideal for client service, a network of widespread Financial Advisers can create unique challenges when it comes to training, encouraging and advancing our people. To address this, we have established headquarters in every country in which we do business and a comprehensive regional support system for our Financial Advisers and Branch Office Administrators. We currently have headquarters facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Tempe, Arizona, in the United States; Mississauga, Ontario, in Canada; and in London.
