Our Branch Network An International Firm with a Local Focus
Edward Jones was founded in 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri, and for over 30 years the firm housed its employees in very much the traditional way – a single downtown office building. In 1955, however, Ted Jones developed the revolutionary concept of establishing single Financial Adviser branch offices conveniently located in the local communities where our clients lived and worked. By 1989, we had seen this branch network grow to more than 1,000 offices across the United States. Today, there are over 10,000 Edward Jones branch offices throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. From Bath to Belfast, Grantham to Glasgow, plus many other places in between, we currently have over 300 branch offices, in locations across the UK. Opportunity abounds for those who want to build a Financial Adviser career, as we have plans to grow to 25,000 branch offices in the coming years – with more than a few of them based right here in the UK. To support our ever-increasing branch network, we have also established headquarters in every country where we do business. Currently, we have headquarter facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Tempe, Arizona, in the United States; Mississauga, Ontario, in Canada; and in Canary Wharf, London.  Edward Jones Limited does business in the United Kingdom as Edward Jones and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edward D. Jones & Co. LP, a Missouri limited partnership. Edward D. Jones & Co. LP does business in the United States as Edward Jones and is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Jones Financial Companies, LLLP, a limited liability limited partnership.
