An International Firm with a Local Focus
Edward Jones was founded in 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri, and for over 30 years the firm housed its employees in very much the traditional way – a single downtown office building. In 1955, however, Ted Jones developed the revolutionary concept of establishing single-Financial-Adviser branch offices conveniently located in the local communities where our clients lived and worked.

Over 10,000 International Locations
By 1989, we had seen our branch network grow to more than 1,000 offices across the United States, and today there are over 10,000 Edward Jones locations through our affiliates in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Opportunity abounds for those who want to be Financial Advisers as we have plans to grow to 25,000 branch offices in the coming years.

Our Headquarters
To support our ever-increasing branch network, we have also established headquarters in every country where we do business. Currently, we have headquarters facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Tempe, Arizona, in the United States; Mississauga, Ontario, in Canada; and in London.
