Hiring Stages

  1. Once you've found a position of interest, submit your résumé online to get the recruiting process started. Résumés submitted via our Web site are loaded into our database immediately.
  2. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when we receive your application. (Note: If you have a SPAM blocker, please ensure you can receive e-mails from erecruit-correspondence@edwardjones.com)
  3. If your résumé meets our qualifications, a recruiter will be in contact to perform an initial phone screening.
  4. Based on the screening, if your skills are a match, the recruiter will conduct a detailed phone interview that can last up to one hour.
  5. Based on the results of the phone interview, the recruiter will pass along the top candidates to the Financial Advisor with an opening for face-to-face interviews.
  6. The Financial Advisor and recruiter will consult to determine who will receive an offer of employment.
  7. A candidate's employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

Please note, the entire recruiting process can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months, depending on factors such as salary, geographic location and type of position.
