Exceptional On-line and Hands-on Training

Your learning consists of more than just online training courses. The training curriculum has been specifically designed to meet the needs of a new branch office administrator (BOA) who is learning about the job's responsibilities, the firm and the individual branch.

There are three components to the year-long BOA Trainee Program:

  • First, you will be assigned a Development Specialist in the home office who will be in regular contact with you and your Financial Advisor throughout your program. These coaching contacts will help you and your Financial Advisor work toward building a strong branch team.
  • Second, you will be assigned a Mentor, another BOA in the region, who will share his or her own experiences. This individual will help you become acclimated to your new firm and your new career.
  • Finally, you will be assigned learning plans which include online courses, activities and knowledge checks. The learning plans are designed to spread-out your training over your first year.

After you complete the initial training, there are elective courses you may take to develop your knowledge and skills. You are encouraged to seek ongoing performance improvement regularly.

BOA Training Support

The BOA Training Support Team will assign your learning plans on your first day. Later during your first week on the job, your Development Specialist will contact you. BOA Training Support is available for questions throughout your training process. There are also additional support and training opportunities to ensure proper branch and regional development.
