Branch Recruiting, Hiring and Training Location: St. Louis Edward Jones has brought investing to the individual investor by establishing a vast network of branch offices in the local communities where our clients live and work. Our Branch Recruiting, Hiring and Training division is a member of our Branch Development Group, which oversees the recruiting, training and development of all branch personnel (Financial Advisors and their administrative assistants) and includes other divisions: Branch Administration and Financial Advisor Development. Having typically one Financial Advisor and a full time support person (Branch Office Administrator - BOA) in each office is unique compared to other major securities firms in the United States. We, however, feel it’s the reason for our more personalized service and therefore largely responsible for our remarkable growth. Currently, we have over 10,000 branch offices in the United States, and through our affiliates in Canada and the United Kingdom. Associates in this division source and recruit quality candidates for our Financial Advisor and BOA positions, serve the needs of new Financial Advisors and BOAs by developing the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to successfully serve our clients and their careers, and coordinate advanced training for all branch personnel.
