Our Equities & Fixed Income Trading division is a member of the Edward Jones Client Solutions Group, which strives to understand the needs and wants of our clients in order to provide the solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. Equity Marketing
Equity Marketing oversees the delivery of an equity framework that guides our Financial Advisors in building proper equity portfolios for our clients. Specific department functions include partnering with Research to market their recommendations through equity programs, literature and direct marketing channels, training Financial Advisors regarding equities, with a focus on diversification, quality and long-term strategies, and managing the firm's Systematic Investing Programs. Key Qualifications Include:
- Strong marketing skills and experience
- Excellent verbal communication/presentation skills
- Knowledge of capital markets and equity fundamentals

Equity Trading
This department assumes the overall responsibility for the appropriate systems and processes that enable our branch offices to satisfy the equity trading needs of our clients. This includes managing daily trade volumes to ensure clients receive timely and appropriate order execution within regulatory guidelines, and maintaining key relationships with market venues and equity dealers. Key Qualifications Include:
- Degree in Finance / Economics a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient with spreadsheet applications
- Strong presentation skills
- Attention to detail/multi-tasking
- Series 7, 66 and 55 required

Fixed Income Marketing
This department educates Financial Advisors on fixed income investing in order to help them advise clients on their income needs, partners with the trading desks and Marketing in order to communicate current opportunities, and ensures that our key Fixed Income themes are communicated and delivered to our Financial Advisors. Key Qualifications Include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- One to two years of presentation and public-speaking experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial products

Fixed Income Trading
This department is responsible for identifying and purchasing bonds that help meet clients' financial needs, proactively marketing fixed income strategies and solutions to our Financial Advisors, and supplying superior service to branch offices regarding fixed income inquiries. Key Qualifications Include:
- High analytical aptitude
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Interest in financial markets
- Trading and/or capital markets experience is a plus
