A: I started at the firm in 2001 and took this role in 2007. Q: What did you do prior to joining Edward Jones?
A: Before coming to Edward Jones I was in management and marketing for different financial services companies. Q: Describe the culture at Edward Jones and how it’s different from your previous job?
A: My prior employers always put the company's best interest first. Edward Jones truly cares about doing the right thing for the customer. Q: One area Edward Jones prides itself is enabling associates to maintain a strong work-life balance. How does this approach impact you?
A: After having both of my children, Edward Jones made it very easy for me to ease back into my work schedule. The flexibility that was offered both times reiterated that the firm really does emphasize a strong work-life balance. Q: Do you feel there are opportunities for advancement and greater income potential at Edward Jones?
A: Absolutely. I was hired as an Operations Specialist in 2001, promoted to an Operations Specialist II in 2003, an Operations Generalist in 2006 and then became a Team Leader in 2007. Q: Do you feel you are rewarded for taking initiative and “going the extra mile” at Edward Jones?
A: Yes. I’ve received promotions, recognition and pay increases for "going the extra mile." Q: How do you see your future at Edward Jones unfolding?
A: I'm sure I'll retire from Edward Jones. I can't see myself working anywhere else.
