Headquarters Rotational Program

The Rotational Development Program (RDP) offers recent graduates a cross-training experience that allows them to rotate through various divisions and departments of the firm. Each RDP associate is tracked to a specific final placement (position) following a full year of rotating.

  • Twelve to eighteen-month program
  • Depending on the division, associates have four three-month rotations or three six-month rotations through various departments/teams
  • Available in both St. Louis, Mo. and Tempe, Ariz.
  • Application deadline for consideration is Oct. 1st
  • Participating divisions could include:
    • Branch Development
    • Client Solutions Group
    • Human Resources
    • Finance
    • Information Systems
    • Operations
    • Service

Multiple leaders and mentors will work with you providing valuable support and feedback throughout the program. In addition to the variety of roles and responsibilities you will experience within each rotation, there are also developmental activities scheduled throughout the program including delivering presentations to senior leaders, volunteer opportunities, and observing and participating in some of the training our Financial Advisors must complete.

Participating in this program allows you to network internally and develop a broad knowledge of the firm’s inner workings so that you are fully prepared when you begin your permanent full-time placement (position) that best suits your skills, abilities and interests.

Who should apply for this opportunity?

  • Students in their senior year
  • Students in business-related majors (i.e. Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, etc.) with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Individuals with excellent analytical, marketing, leadership, communication, teamwork, flexibility, and service skills
  • Individuals who have had relevant experience

Timeline for the RDP Selection process

  • August
    • All open positions are formally posted online with the career centers of our target schools.
  • September/October
    • Review all electronically submitted resumes and select qualified applicants for an initial interview
    • Attend career fairs and other employment events to identify additional candidates for initial interviews
    • Conduct all on-campus interviews at the target schools
    • Notify and schedule all second interviews with qualifying candidates. These interviews will be conducted at our offices in St. Louis and Tempe
  • November
    • If selected to proceed, final round interviews will take place in November at our offices in St. Louis and Tempe
    • Job offers are extended to selected candidates
