Information Systems Internship/Co-op Program

Our Information Systems internships and co-ops are paid positions. You will work within Information Systems departments on daily support activities, enhancements and projects. Working 40 hours a week, you can add hands-on, practical Information Systems experience to your education as a contributing member of a project-based team.

Co-op Program

  • Two co-op programs available (January-August or June-December)
  • St. Louis Headquarters
  • Time period to apply for consideration is September 1-October 1
  • Information Systems Division only

Internships

  • Ten-week period during summer months
  • Available in both St. Louis, Mo. and Tempe, Ariz.
  • Time period to apply for consideration is September 1-October 1

An internship or co-op program at Edward Jones gives students a realistic job preview of a full-time position. As an intern or co-op, students you will find challenging opportunities in software development and network/systems administration while working with a wide variety of developing technologies. In addition to the work, there are developmental and social activities scheduled throughout the program, such as the opportunity to participate in a speaker series where senior leaders from the firm share about their career experiences. Interns and co-ops also participate in a service project and give final presentation to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program.

Who should consider applying for internship or co-op position?

  • Students in their freshman, sophomore and junior years are eligible to apply
  • We look for students in information technology related majors (i.e. Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.)
  • Qualified candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • We look for students with excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, flexibility and service skills.
