Our Business Model

For over 50 years, Edward Jones has brought investing to the individual investor by establishing single Financial Advisor offices in the local communities where our clients live and work. Having just one Financial Advisor and a full-time support person (Branch Office Administrator) staff each office runs counter to that of virtually every other major securities firm in the United States. We, however, feel it’s the reason for our more personalized service and therefore largely responsible for our remarkable growth. Currently, we have more than 11,000 office locations in the United States and our affiliate in Canada.

Our belief is that the best advice comes from someone who knows you. That’s why we will continue to staff our conveniently located offices with someone who might drop by your home to introduce himself or herself. Someone with whom clients can build a lasting, one-on-one relationship. And someone you might see at the grocery store, the ballpark or as part of your town’s Chamber of Commerce.

Supportive Structure
Although ideal for client service, a network of widespread Financial Advisors can create unique challenges when it comes to training, encouraging and advancing our people. To address this, we have established headquarters in every country in which we do business and a comprehensive regional support system for our Financial Advisors and Branch Office Administrators. We currently have headquarters facilities in St. Louis, Mo.; Tempe, Ariz.; and with our affiliate in Mississauga, Ontario.
