Edward Jones was founded in 1922 in St. Louis, Mo., and for over 30 years the firm housed its employees in very much the traditional way – a single downtown office building. In 1955, however, Ted Jones developed the revolutionary concept of establishing single Financial Advisor branch offices conveniently located in the local communities where our clients lived and worked. By 1989, we had seen our branch network grow to more than 1,000 offices across the U.S., and today there are more than 10,000 Edward Jones locations in the United States, and with our affiliates in Canada and the United Kingdom. And opportunity abounds for those who want to be Financial Advisors, as we have plans to grow to 17,500 branch offices in the coming years. Our Headquarters
To support our ever-increasing branch network, we have also established headquarters in every country we do business. Currently, we have headquarters facilities in St. Louis, Mo.; Tempe, Ariz.; Mississauga, Ontario; and London, England.
