The Opportunity for Women
At Edward Jones, we empower confident and ambitious women to achieve success. How you define that success is up to you - whether that means becoming a pillar in your community to teach individuals the importance of financial literacy, or making a meaningful difference in your clients' lives by helping them create a strategic approach to their long-term financial goals. As an Edward Jones Financial Advisor, you are able to build a practice that allows you to directly impact your community. You have the flexibility to create your own career path. Once established, you have the opportunity to run a successful practice while balancing the commitment you have to your loved ones.
We help women succeed
We are dedicated to matching the makeup of our Financial Advisor network to that of the clients we wish to serve, which is why are seeking more women to enter the industry and join Edward Jones. We are committed to your training and career development, and you will experience this commitment as you come on board.
Everything is in place to support the individual Financial Advisor, and this is especially true for women. We have established programs you can take advantage of as you begin to build your business at Edward Jones.
Early Success Coach Program
During the first 12 months at Edward Jones, you will be paired with an Early Success Coach. This coach is an experienced Financial Advisor who will spend one-on-one time with you, either over the phone or in person, to offer advice and guidance as you complete your training. Your coach can offer support on topics such as:
- Developing strategies to build relationships within your community as well as client relationships
- Managing a balance between your career and personal commitments
- Applying the knowledge and experiences gained from training to create strategies for helping clients work toward their long-term financial goals
Women Helping (Other) Women (WHOW)
At Edward Jones, many of our Financial Advisors learn business tactics and best practices from each other. Our WHOW meetings bring women from a region together to network and share business-building ideas. At these events, there are presentations and panel discussions from successful women Financial Advisors, external wholesalers and home office representatives.
Women's Networking Lunches
When you travel to our headquarters locations for training, you will be invited to participate in a women's networking lunch to connect with other women Financial Advisors from across the country who are at the same point in their careers. In addition, you will meet with a veteran woman advisor to learn more about how she built her practice. This is an ideal opportunity for women to offer advice to one another and exchange best practices.
