Lizbeth Lindley loved her work as a foreign exchange trader on Wall Street, but the hours made it hard to be present for the life she was building at home.
“I was on the 5:48am train and didn’t get home until about 7:00pm,” she recalls. “When I had my first baby, I only got about 90 minutes with her in a day before she went to bed.”
As her family grew, the gap between the career she excelled in and the life she wanted became clearer. When she became pregnant with her second child, Lizbeth decided not to go back to Wall Street and started interviewing with other firms. With 15 years of experience, an MBA and strong demand for women in the industry, she had many options.
