Opportunity for Everyone

At Edward Jones, we foster an environment that encourages new and innovative thinking and acknowledges the positive contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds. We believe that an inclusive group of associates is the best way to serve the varied and individual needs of our clients and will ultimately help them work toward their long-term financial goals.

We're looking for confident, high-performing individuals who want to make a difference in people's lives and develop strong relationships in the community. As a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, you can experience unlimited potential and greater control over your career in a supportive, collaborative environment - one where you will have access to formal and informal coaching and support.

To help you build a successful practice, we offer the following resources when you join the firm:

Early Success Coach Program

During the first 12 months at Edward Jones, you will be paired with an Early Success Coach. This coach is an experienced Financial Advisor who will spend one-on-one time with you, either over the phone or in person, to offer advice and guidance as you complete your training. Your coach can offer support on topics such as:

  • Developing strategies to build relationships within your community and develop client relationships
  • Applying the knowledge and experiences gained from training to create strategies focused on helping clients understand the market opportunities and make calculated investment decisions
  • Managing a balance between your career and personal commitments
  • Leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to gain the independence and expertise you need to run a practice

Cross-Cultural Development Program

At Edward Jones, we acknowledge there are various cultural barriers and challenges that diverse Financial Advisors experience. We've developed the Cross Cultural Development Program to help our diverse Financial Advisors address those challenges and build successful businesses within their communities.

This two-day class focuses on understanding issues of race and then identifying strategies for building credibility, competence and confidence to counter those issues. In the program, Financial Advisors share successful strategies and business-building ideas.

Financial Advisors are invited to participate in this class 10 to 60 months into building a practice.
