00:14:00 I've learned that it's not really about diversity, equity, inclusion, it's truly just about connecting with people, and once I saw it in that way, there was no stopping me. When I meet these people from different life paths or different stories, different journeys and how they got here, it's amazing to me.

00:36:00 When I was initially hired, my wife got a letter in the mail saying, welcome to Edward Jones, and that made a big impression on us as to what type of company we were going to be a part of.

Moira Klein-Swormink:

00:49:00 For me, I said, I'm going to go and work at Edward Jones for two years, then I'll decide what I'm going to do. Eight years later, I'm still here, and the reason for that is that this firm has growth opportunities that are stimulating, that help create momentum in your career.

01:09:00 I grew up with parents who have disabilities and my mom is blind and has been since she was a little kid. I saw the things that they had to do that kind of made things a little bit harder for them. And then fast-forward to being a parent myself. I have four kids and two of them have invisible disabilities, so I started to raise my hand and volunteer for projects that had to do with disability inclusion, and eventually just sort of turned it into a career.

Vanessa Garcia Randazzo:

01:37:00 Helping our community was really important to me. Edward Jones as an organization has made that commitment as well. And for me, that just speaks volumes to have a company so large be so committed to our communities and really showing up for one another.

We have a dozen Business Resource Groups (BRGs) that foster connections, learning and innovation – while deepening a sense of community. Our current BRGs are unrestricted, voluntary and open to all associates firmwide. They include Asian & Pacific Islander, Black/African American, Caregivers, Disability, Green, Interfaith, Latinx/Hispanic, LGBTQ+ & Allies, Military-Veteran, Remote Connections, Women’s and Young Professionals. Whether you’re in one of our branches or in our home office, you can find a BRG to call home.

Annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference

Each year, we bring together hundreds of colleagues across different roles for a recognition and development conference. Attendees strengthen the skills, knowledge and empathy that enable us to serve clients more completely and create a place of belonging for all. The Annual DEI Conference has a spirited atmosphere that inspires while encouraging both personal and professional growth.

Mosaic Series

The Mosaic Series is a portfolio of learning opportunities, programs and immersive experiences offered throughout the year to strengthen our sense of connection, culture and community so we can better serve our clients and each other.

Programming includes: hybrid presentations (in-person or via Zoom) featuring guest speakers and panels, facilitator-led discussion groups on both timely topics and ongoing challenges such as mental health, as well as on-demand videos in which colleagues share lessons learned from their compelling personal experiences. In 2024, we hosted nearly 15,000 associates during events throughout the year designed to strengthen our cultural understanding and enhance connections firmwide and within departments, regions and markets.  

LinkedIn Learning and Ed: Our Professional Development Platform Tailored to You

We believe learning is a personal journey and we learn best when we learn with purpose. Our new Professional Development Platform, which we call Ed, empowers individuals to explore learning and development opportunities based on their unique interests. Ed features personalized learning recommendations from internal and external subject matter experts including trusted names like Harvard and Udemy.

LinkedIn Learning, the award-winning industry leader in online training was also recently integrated onto our Ed platform to offer more than 8,400 digital courses covering a wide range of technical, business, software and creative topics. We’ve spent decades investing in professional development to help ensure Edward Jones talent has all the right skills and abilities to meet the unique needs of our current and future clients.
