Edward Jones has been named to the 2022 “Best Workplaces for Women” list by Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine, ranking No. 45.
The survey found 91% of Edward Jones’ associates said the firm is a great place to work. This number is 34% higher than the average U.S. company. Rooted in its purpose – the firm partners for positive impact to improve the lives of its clients and colleagues, and together, better communities and society.
“At Edward Jones, we know progress depends on our collective hard work and everyday actions to work together toward true equity,” said Jennifer Kingston, Head of Enterprise Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
Best Workplaces for Women is highly competitive and the award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 640,000 women across the U.S.
The Great Place to Work award selects winners based on how fairly women say they’re treated at their workplace. The survey measures the differences in women’s survey responses with those of their peers and assesses the impact of demographics and roles on the quality and consistency of women’s experiences.
“This year, we renewed our five-point commitment to positively impact opportunities for women and people of color,” said Kingston. “We are focused on advancing equitable hiring, training, promotional practices and policies to progress toward greater diverse representation.”
Edward Jones has committed to the following human capital aspirations in the U.S. and Canada by the end of 2025:
- 20% people of color and 50% women among leaders in the firm’s U.S. and Canada headquarters
- 15% people of color and 40% women among U.S. and Canadian home office general partners
- 15% people of color and 30% women among U.S. and Canadian financial advisors
