What did you do before joining Edward Jones?
I owned and operated a high-end custom home-building company.
Why was the Edward Jones opportunity appealing to you?
It's the perfect balance between having the resources a large reputable firm offers, coupled with working autonomously like a business owner.
Describe one of your best or most memorable experiences with a client.
A client decided he was completely fed up with his job and wanted to know if he could quit yet, from a financial perspective. The level of trust he gave to me was a great feeling of value.
What is it like to build a business.
It's hard work. There are no excuses. It's up to you to do the work it takes. You must be self-motivated and a self-starter. It takes a confident and competitive spirit to succeed.
What do you find most satisfying about your career?
I find the autonomy rewarding. I like the fact that I've built my practice from the ground up.
What is the best thing about your role as an Edward Jones financial advisor?
I get to help my clients with a part of their lives that impacts their present and future as well as generations after them.
