$167M Financial Advisor Jon Murdock Returns for to Focus on Retirement Planning

Edward Jones is pleased to welcome Financial Advisor Jon Murdock, who is rejoining the firm. With nearly a decade of industry experience, Murdock, who began his career as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in 2015, will focus on providing comprehensive retirement plan services for small and mid-sized companies in the Seattle area.
Murdock, who previously managed more than $167 million in client assets, will utilize Edward Jones’ resources to deeply serve the needs of individuals and business owners to help them focus on their long-term financial goals. He will access the firm’s technology infrastructure, digital initiatives and virtual business enablement tools to help support his clients’ retirement needs.

Murdock’s focus will be on delivering comprehensive financial strategies and retirement planning to small and mid-sized businesses. His efforts will be complemented by Edward Jones’ dedication to enhancing its long-term growth objectives and commitment to serve clients more completely through deep personal relationships and comprehensive advice and guidance.
Previously, Murdock served as Director of Retirement Plan Services at Hohimer Wealth Management. Prior to that, he was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones for over seven years, advising clients on retirement solutions. Murdock retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He is an Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. Murdock also holds a position at the Navy League of the United States, serving as the Vice President of the Tacoma Council for the past decade. Murdock received an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts in Education from Argosy University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior University. He also holds his Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS™) certifications.
Murdock will be joined by branch office administrator, Teresa Otto and branch support assistant, Kella Cragar. Additionally, Edward Jones has thousands of people and advanced technology supporting his efforts.
