[Nanette] You can really make a difference in people’s lives. I mean if that is one of your goals, if that’s something that you want to do with your life this is the place to be. You also can decide on your own what your practice looks like, who you serve, what direction that takes.

[Sonia] It was very interesting for me to realize that I have the freedom to do what I need to do to achieve the goals and help my clients to do so.

[Text] Work Life Balance

[Sonia] Being able to run my business and take care of, you know, my family. Being able to get my job done and don’t forget you have a life outside of work.

[Text] Training and Support – Throughout Your Career

[Nanette] In my transition from a financial advisor from an attorney I was petrified. I didn’t have a financial background, I was only a client of a financial advisor and I was scared that I didn’t have the skills that I was going to need but there was a group of people that surrounded me. I had mentors, trainers, and just a lot of people that were able to make a positive impact on my career.

[Sonia] And all these women with no reason, nothing to get in return are always there calling you from their own cell phones when they are on their way home from a soccer game with their kids just to check on me. And be how is your business going? Are you having a good month? What are your goals? Where do you want to go? And it has been inspirational.

[Text] Work Hard – Be Rewarded

[Nanette] We give you every tool that you need to succeed and there is no ceiling.

[Sonia] If you have told me eight years ago that I would be what I am financially, I would have been questioning it. If you’re going through a regular job even just doing your merit increase, you cannot achieve what we can.

[Text] Meaningful Work

[Nanette] What I love most about being a financial advisor is that we get the opportunity and the privilege to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients. We make such a difference every day and I love going there every day. It’s not work.

[Sonia] It has allowed me to be me. Like I feel so comfortable. Like I feel like I landed and I belong somewhere.

Base salary, office and administrator? That’s on us. How far you will go? All you.

When you join Edward Jones as a financial advisor, we’ll set you up with a firm-provided office in a community you choose, a branch office administrator to help run your daily activities and access to resources to help build a successful practice. You’ll receive four years of a salary based on what you earned in your previous career. With no cap on your earning potential, how far you go is entirely up to you.
